I&#039;m new in Software business, but as I see it, let &#039;em use the Trial as Full version until they are hooked.

I don&#039;t even see the point of alerting users that they are using the Trial version. Let them think its a free software.Just let them use it, and when they are hooked, BAM &quot;Trial over&quot;!

		<description>An excellent post!   Good sales people know the right timing to &quot;nag&quot; their prospect and lead them to pull out their credit cards (or sign the order).  But they have the advantage of being able to look their prospect in the face --- or at least talk to them on the phone --- to gauge where they&#039;re at.   That&#039;s much harder to do in an online trial situation.   But you can take some guesses... and you&#039;re absolutely correct that it&#039;s unlikely the prospect is going to be ready to buy at the time they first launch the trial app... so why nag them then!  I like the idea of waiting until they&#039;ve either been using the app for a while, or when they&#039;ve launched it a few times.
