Grateful Entrepreneurs Get Early Access to Santa’s “Nice” List!

Posted on November 27th, 2017 by

As the holiday season is upon us, we’re getting ready to wrap up another busy yet successful year at 2Checkout.

Looking back over the year, we can hardly believe how much has happened! We won quite a few awards, were named finalists in others, added cool features to our platform, grew relationships with existing clients and acquired new ones. Most importantly, Avangate joined forces with 2Checkout and we started a new journey that will bring us even closer to our goal of simplifying global eCommerce for customers like you. Needless to say, we’re super excited about the future and what’s to come in 2018!

But enough about us: we want to hear your story, too! How was the past year for you and your company?

And because it’s the season to be jolly, we have a contest for you!

Don’t worry, it’s easy to enter.

Just leave a comment on this post telling us what you’re most thankful for this year when it comes to your business. Is it more leads, more employees, successful product launches or well-attended events? Or, if you can’t think of something you’re thankful for (we hope you can!), just tell us the best thing you did for your eCommerce business this year and how it improved your overall performance.

We will go through all your stories right after Christmas and select one grand prize winner and a runner-up. The grand prize is a brand new iPhone X, to reward yourself for your success this year. The runner-up will get five great Books to help you improve your business next year. Make sure to post your comment by December 31.

Let’s recap.

Congratulations to the Avangate (now 2Checkout) team for an amazing year!

On my end, I’m most grateful for adding some great employees. I switched roles to be the director of content marketing at an amazing fintech company, but my team was too small for our ambitions – there just weren’t enough people to get things done, so we were leaving potential victories on the table. I have been blessed with some incredible luck on a couple new hires, so we’re ending off the year on a great footing and we’re looking to do some truly amazing things in 2018!

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!! I’m grateful for so much, most importantly, good health, family and friends. I’m grateful for a job that I enjoy, a wonderful place to work, colleagues that I love and admire, a lot of laughter at work , and our company’s continued growth and success. I’m looking forward to the new year ahead. Happy 2018!!!!

I would call this year – the year of a customer development.

The most effective thing we’ve started to work on this year is about a systematic approach to the lead generation and conversion to our customers, successful customers. As our software requires time exploring it at the very beginning, it is very important to support our customers from the very first step, identifying their pains and giving the right solution.

Being in contact with potential customers, we exactly understand why they choose our solution and what help them to master the product faster. As a result we created online courses – it brings us more leads to the sales pipeline; redesigned our offline tech events and trainings which helped us to reduce the deal time. And finally we’ve started to track each buyer who implemented our solutions in their projects – with it we have loyal and regular customers. All things decsribed above seem to be simple and logical, but it took us time to realise it and use effectively.

Our plans for 2018 is to spread this scaleable approach among our partners from different regions and countries.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
